Thank you for producing this forum.

My husband and I attended the afternoon session and were informed and encouraged about the work being done on the grassroots level and beyond to advance the founding principles of the Republican Party.

The moderator did an excellent job keeping the program on track, however I would suggest fewer panels, as there was not adequate time for panelist's remarks and Q&A.

Overall, the forum was a booster shot to me as I head back to my community to engage in volunteer work addressing the academic achievement gap. I look forward to attending in the future.

Sincerely,
Bolingbrook, Illinois

Greetings fellow Republicans!

I wanted to share a word of encouragement with you. I haven't always been one to be in the position to donate as much money as I would like to various organizations, but this election year I have sent money to the NBRA. Though I am not black, I feel that it is so very important for white Republicans to make a point to really open their eyes to the history of this party and get back some of our strongest roots, that being pioneers of civil rights. Unfortunately we, Republicans, have allowed liberals, i.e. Democrats to rewrite history, allowing the media to give a very wrong picture of what the Republican Party is about. Unfortunately racism still exists, and that's why we, as Republicans, white, black, latino, asian, etc, need to be much more vocal and educate people about the roots of our GOP. It is about having the opportunity of prosperity for all, not settling for what the government will set as the standard. Your website does just that. Keep up the wonderful job you are doing. The Republican Party needs you. The black community needs you. Your association makes me proud to be a registered Republican. And I thank you for that.

Sincerely,

I was impressed by the presentations that I saw two young ladies make on C-span. The thinking is the same as most conservatives. Keep up the good work.

National Black RepubIican Assc. I watched your TV program, I am a democrate, I have always been, but even if Obama was a republican I would vote for him, just to see my black people get to this point of becoming president, I would vote for him, knowing what the black people have been through and are still going through, the reason Hillary had 18.000.000 voters is because she was the first white woman to run for president and that was history!,if she had been a black Woman she would not had done that well, history or not, because her black people would not had stood with her and backed her; my sister is republican, but she has grand sons and she want them to know that they can be more then just atheletes and that they can be president of the United States Of America,so she voted for Obama. the black.woman that said that Jim Crow is not still around, she need to open her eyes and see how the police officers treat black criminals differents then they do white criminals, and a black man still can't get the job that he equally quarlify for if the white man quarlify and wants it,I live in Californis and we are still experiencing that,You people must be rich and highly educated and blind!!! or maybe married to a white person, trust me,I don't have a problem with that, but if you can't see that black people are not totally treated equally to white people you are blind, Your elected president say hes pro life, how pro life is he, to leave those huricane patrina people to hang on trees and on top of houses for a week, get real, I believe being republican make you feel white and rich,.search your hearts and repent to God for the things you are saying.
PS.I believe Colon Powell got so fed up with the injustice and being used and resigned, pres. Bush would do and say anything to win, same as Mccain is doing, how can a man or woman buy health insurance without a job and can't get a job, but they do get sick, may God have mercy on the poor if Mccain is elected president, may God have mercy on all of us middle class and poor people. PS. I feel like Rice is fed up with the injustice also.
I felt sick listening to you.

Just want to say I caught part of your meeting on Cspan.

Although not African American, I was truly impressed with the brilliance, intelligence, and logical thinkers that spoke today.

Your organization should be commended for the cause and the good you are trying to promote.

Good luck and best wishes.

An admirer of your work,

Groves, TX

Abortion, Barack owes Republicans, etc. Sitting here watching your program. I'm glad you all are the standard bearers for republicans.

I support Barack because he believes what I believe. Not because he's black.

I don't support Clarence Thomas and those that believe as he does. He is a disgrace to the legacy of Thurgood Marshall. He's Black.

Don't insult the 96% of blacks that support Barack.

You're not that brilliant!!

I am a white, middle age woman. I just watched your forum on C-span. It was wonderful. I really wish that more African- American's would feel the same way you all do. You have great conservative views and ideas. I am very happy to see this, and there is hope that maybe this country will turn around for the better. Keep up the good work that you do.

If you have them, I would love to have a bumper sticker for your organization, and especially, for now, if you have one showing your support for John McCain for President. Thank you so much and God bless you all!

WHAT VALUES MUST ONE HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED PRESIDENTIAL. WHAT VALUES JOHN McCain HAVE THAT MR. Obama DON'T,OR VICE VERSA

To Lynn Swann:: No we didn't want you to govern Pa.--I am a Pittsburgher--Your remarks are so typical--the rich get richer and the poor are left behind--corporate profit has to decrease--if the worker has a decent minimum wage maybe he can climb out of poverty by working 2-3 jobs!!Great Britian--wage is $9.00/hr. But then again our country is broke--running on Chinese credit-- do you have a suggestion for paying for this silly wasted / war. ? You and the McCain people obviously don't see the hardship of people because you never come down and see the guy sweating to get his little paycheck. Alice in Pgh

I just finished watching your Forum on C-Span, and I must say that I, as a 67 year old/young white male, that I have been waiting to hear the GREAT speakers that you had on this program. I was very impressed to listen to the people who had questions, and to the answers that were given, especially from Jennifer Carroll, Mychal Massie, and Lynn Swann.

I know in my heart that with this type of future leaders, that Black Americans will finally have the type of ideas and beliefs that will improve their lives and will finally raise there life standards, to where they should of been for the past 45 years. I agreed with all that was spoken and will look forward to your next Forum. Thank you and your org. for lifting my spirits about my fellow Americans, who happen to be Black. It's about time !!!

I am white man who saw your presentation on CSPAN the other night and was totally impressed. I am with you all the way. Is there a chapter of your organization in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area? If so I would like to know whom to contact.

I was watching Allen West speaking on C-Span friday aug 22, he mentioned the strain of the health care system because of illegal immigration.
What Mr West may not understand is that the members of congress are basically letting illegal immigrants come into this country because of something called The North American Union thats being secretly created by an organization called The Bilderberg Group. They are an internation orgainization that meets every couple of years to discuss world government and how to implement it. The Bilderberg Group is made up of approx 130 members of the global elite, power brokers etc. One of their goals is to create this "North American Union" by integrating the United States with Canada and Mexico by getting rid of our northern and southern borders. This would create one of several global districts in the Bilderberg group's plan. I realize that illegal immigration is probably a small part of the forum that took place on C-Span, i just wanted to bring this information to your attention. If you want to follow up on what i've said, you can google the name alex jones and click on the link that mentions EndGame - Blueprint for Global Enslavement, you can watch the presentation for free.

Thank you for reading this,

I am watching your forum on c-span and I am so impressed by what I am hearing. Allen West, Jessie Lee Peterson, Star Parker, Deneen Borelli, .Mrs. Honeycutt. You guys are Great!!! I wish you were running for office! You are so right. Your common sense and value driven message is so refreshing. I am so glad I was able to catch this broadcast. I am a white conservative living in Arkansas, I am very worried about the future of our country however, listening to you has given me hope that our country has a chance. Stand strong--you are in my prayers. Thank you for your courage and important message.

just watched your program on public broadcast. You all made me happy to be american again. God bless you

Thank you and the whole panel for the wonderful and encouraging discussions. WOW ! Please send my thank you to all of them.
Do you know if the program this evening is archived anywhere. I would like to refer my friends to the program .
From St.Louis, Missouri.               , citizen, husband, father and grandfather.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Everyone of you
that spoke on the program that I saw on C-Span is a blessing. You
speak for many of 'us' out here. We are FIRST an American.
Everything that was said was SO RICH and the substance was
refreshing in every way. I must hear more and what can I do to
help you.
Sincerely,
Your fellow American---------In God We Trust

I am an American (white American) and just finished watching one of your sessions on CSpan Friday evening.  I was so incredibly impressed with the panel, the message and learning about some of the issues surrounding Black churches in America – I was comforted to hear a Black individual acknowledge that hatred towards their White American brothers is tacitly encouraged.  As someone raised to feel such pain and angst over my ancestors treatment of Blacks, I would do anything to close the racial divide – however I don’t often see that Blacks are as interested in closing the divide and never really understood why, until watching your informative Forum.

God Bless you for having the courage to stand up for what is right, for representing the true fruits of the spirit, for wearing a mantle that I know must bring you such discomfort at times.  I applaude your courage, your platform and your message, and look forward to supporting your organization in any way possible. We all want a United America where people openly love their God, their country and one another.

I ,just viewed the BRF on C-SPAN I am a Black American raised in a democratic family, had voted dem lifelong. I was willing to listen to the blp piont of view, let me add I am open minded politically, proof I'm a 6 yr . registered green. I joined the green party because of my dissapointment with the dems which was only exceeded by my dissapointment in the reps, so I figured, this way I can debate my point, have an affiliation, and still in the end vote for who the f--- I pleased, which is what I do! All that said I found the BLF in New York. The absolute! saddest, most laughable(if you're a white republican) (this is NYC yall could'nt get 50 people in the room ,sad!) scenario I have ever seen in my life. It Inspired me to write,  There were the usual charactors Niger Innes, Lynn(loved him as a player never will be gov.)Swann, the beautiful, highly intelligent Dr Honeycutt(what a waste). The very forgettable Mychal(whats his name), the Rep from Florida can't remember his name either, and he was the least boring of what was some of the most boring TV ever. The rest of your panel does not deserve comment!.... So. Look, YOU guys voted for ''W'' remember,,, that in itself disqualifies
you from any viable consideration for at least the next two administrations.!!! So as Black Americans,,you guys Republicans or what ever you are, either join the Obama revolution, or get rolled over.Look we still love you but time is short, so wake up or step aside pleeeese!

I never knew an organization like yours existed. I am so happy to have seen you on C-Span tonight. I am a white woman (and a republican committeewoman) living outside of Philadelphia wishing that black people in Philly would see how time after time democratic mayors are keeping the people down. Crime is worse than ever, drugs as well as unemployment. The black people in Philly need to know about you.

There is an AM station - calling itself "The Voice of the African American" (900 WURD on the am dial) that I listen to that talks only about the democratic party and how Obama is going to save them. It sickens me. Can't you get a speaker on that station to help get the word out to the black people in Philly that there is a better solution to their problems and it is with the republican - conservative movement.

Thanks for your show.

I will be doing some research on the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Deneen Borelli, Star Parker and David Webb. I am excited they exist and that I stayed up late and found them on C-Span.

Narberth, PA

Found you on C-span tonight. So excited to know the Black Republican Forum even exists. I am not black but I believe what your panel said is all true. I have thought this for years. I will spread the word about you and the group I saw on C-Span tonight.

WURD -am radio (900 on the dial) here is Philadelphia claims to be the "Voice of the African American" but they are all liberal democrats who think Obama is going to save them. Can't you get on that station and spread your conservative views??

Black people in Philadelphia need to hear the truth! Crime, drugs & kids with no guidance are ruining the lives of black people here in Philly.

Re: Rep Stephanie Tubbs-Jones, victim of FICA Death Tax

Mr. Webb,

Saw the Black Republican Forum on CSPAN, good show, & Star Parker gave a great exposure on the politicians` job protection scam, Socialist Insecurity.

So to my point...Tubbs-Jones not only lost her life, but having no eligible survivors, also lost her cumulative FICA `contributions,` forfeited to the governement for politicians to squander on their pet pork projects.

I mistrust any of Tubbs-Jones `distinguished` colleagues will dare mention how she was defrauded, so I hope you`ll alert working Americans to this potential fraud in their future, & being a bipartisan scam it gets a seal of approval from both parties.

FDR would be proud, but it`s a national scandal for politicians to bilk anyone out of their own money. The double standards are amazing...in the real world, employers are usually prosecuted for defrauding employees, but in the political world, defrauding federal employees is business as usual.

How sad, Tubbs-Jones was bilked out of her own money by the very political scam she so dearly loved, so much so, that she strongly opposed President Bush`s proposal to allow FICA payers to fund voluntary PRAs with some FICA `contributions.` OK, I`m off my soapbox...expressing your protected free speech rights, help alert FICA payers as to how their 10th Amendment rights are trampled every payday.

Very sincerely,

Tucson, AZ

I watched your program tonight on C-Span and I thought it was great.  I think you covered most points I am concerned about in the upcoming election. And there is more that is at stake than just the Presidential election. There are many seats that need to be reclaimed and all the points you discussed were excellent.  Thanks for a great forum. Conservative values and principles, ownership for raising your family, less government, doing the right thing,  are all things I have used my whole life for work and my family.   David Webb and Mychal Massie were excellent moderators and the guests were exceptional.  I thank C-Span and the National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives, who deserve a huge hand and I'm glad I was turning channels at the time I did.           Thanks

Dear Sir,

I am an American who just happens to be white.   I have taught in public school for the past 30 years and am also an ordained minister.

The Republican Party was the party of my father, and as soon as I had registered to vote, I called the Republican Party my party too.  However, now that I am older I have watched my party gradually drift away from long cherished values.  I have three kids... a daughter who is 22, one son who is 17, and another son who is 14.  When I consider the America they know in comparison to the America I grew up in, I cringe.  But it all seems so hopeless....  I have grown discouraged and apathetic.  I am sorry to admit that I have recently thought, "Who cares?   What can I do that will ever make a difference?  It just doesn't matter any more..."

And then I saw your broadcast tonight on C-Span.....  I am embarrassed to confess that I did not know there was such a thing as the "Black Republican Forum."

I know it's not the "manly" thing to admit, but I almost cried to once again hear the beautiful, courageous truth being proclaimed from your forum.   I was so VERY, VERY proud of each one of your panel members....., proud to be a citizen once again and know that you and I share the same dream..., the same hope..., the same godly heritage as Americans.   Unquestionably, you and Americans like you will prove to be the salvation of our "Grand Ol' Party!"  ...But more importantly than that, you will be the political and social redemption of our Christian America.

Thank you for making me believe again.  May God richly bless you and all your wonderful forum members.

I just caught the last 15 minutes of the c-span2 showing. (I went to the c-span site to see the whole video and video was not available from the event...I hope that will change.) David Webb was speaking and was saying that what was needed were people who are "willing". I am willing. Not in a long time have I witnessed a group, a cause with which I can stand.

What can I do? How can I contribute?

I was a liberal up until 9/11 when I started following the news closely, watching c-span, reading. I identify now as a conservative republican. Angela McGowan's book, Bamboozled, opened my eyes to the true history of the republican party. I am shocked at the amount of misinformation, mostly in the unsaid, that permeates a lot of the media and perpetuates the myth. We must act boldly and swiftly to save our nation. Black conservatives have a unique opportunity now. I am white but I feel the call strongly.

Please communicate with me. I am teachable and willing.

Please forward this to David Webb.

In appreciation,

Seattle

Outstanding CSPAN discussion!  Could have been a little better marketed, but the WONDERFUL conservative ideas put forward by Rev Peterson & Star Parker, in particular, were incredible... hope to see both in speaking roles at the RNC Convention.  Keep fighting!

I watched the proceedings on CSPAN this evening and was inspired--especially by the panel discussing "Black Church and State."  Thank you and I will try to be more bold and less afraid to get shouted down.

God bless you.

Dear David,

This was a second time that I accidently caught this session.  I want to let you know I was so inspired by all who represented the endeveavor of Black Americans to educate a fragile generation who could potentially vote and continue to lead our country away from the Godly laws which we are in such desperate need of at this time in history.  I will be in prayer for all and that God’s will be done.

Thanking you again and God bless,

On the morning of Aug 23 about 03:30 hours I awoke and was restless, couldn't go back to sleep.  So I turned on the boob-tube watched some of the Olympics. When the event was over I channel surfed to see what was on.  When I got to c-span there was an all black panel discussion in progress.

'Women's National Republican Club, Inc.' / 'National Black Republican Assn.'

David: I was flipping channels and came across CSPAN and the Black Repubican Forum. I just wanted to say I enjoyed listening to the discussion and the panel on the topics discussed. I always wondered why the majority of black people were so angry when they live in the greatest country on earth. You can be and do anything you set your mind to regardless of the color of your skin and I was so impressed by all the speakers. Democrats are so angry and the stuff they believe is just crazy. I always wondered how people can carry bibles and say praise the Lord and listen to hate in their churchs and let people tell them they need to be taken care of and they aren't good enough because the white man enslaved them. May God Bless you and yours and I hope some day all black people will believe it is up to them to change their circumstances. It is John McCains loss he didn't show up to the forum. He would have learned alot.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am a white guy and a nominal Republican.  I say nominal for the same reason that one of your speakers described John McCain as a coward.

Anyway, I saw about ten minutes of your presentation and I came away with the impression that you people are the conscience and the last, best hope of the Republican Party.

Best Wishes,

I JUST CAUGHT A BIT OF THE FORUM 8\6\08.WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. WHEN BLACKS TELL JACKSON AND SHARPTON TO GO AWAY THE RIGHT STEPS CAN BE TAKEN. KEEP IT UP

Erroneously sent an incomplete email so am repeating herewith.

I caught just a few words and was about to click onto the next station when I realized  the words were not those of the usual leftist black rhetoric we've come to expect. To say I was astounded and became riveted to the discussion panel would be an understatement.

Unfortunately for me, I've a short-term memory problem and can't recall all of the political panel (one was Deborah Honeycut, from Georgia, candidate for U.S. House seat ).   A second panel consisted of Mychal Massie of Nat'l Leadership Network of Black Conservatives as moderator, Ms Star Parker of the  Coalition on Urban Renewal, Dr. Rev. (or was it Rev./Dr.) Jesse Lee Peterson of BOND,  Ms Deneen Borell, and David Webb Radio talk show host, Sirus-XPS Radio Service.

As one ''white'' conservative I was unaware of such view points from the ''black community."  Prior to this my exposure to black conservative and religious values had been restricted to the radio talk show host Ken Hamlin aka "The Black Avenger" that I use to enjoy a few years ago (unfortunately his show was removed from the local talk radio station some time ago).

My ignorance shows how the liberal controlled media blacks out (no pun  intended) the conservative black view points.

Programs like yours should be aired more often and in time slots that more people view.

Thanks to all

Respectfully,

Please, PLEASE keep up the good work

I am a teacher at an alternative school (in the Houston area) with a predominantly liberal staff. The students have been and continue to be indoctrinated to liberalism. Premarital sex, drugs, hate, etc. are part of the students' neighborhoods/daily lives.

Can you give me insight into Web sites and other resources that I could use in a classroom setting... such as pictures and bios of successful African Americans that espouse the values I believe we share. I'll have to back door the information so-to-speak.

Thanks - T

We heard you speak on C-Span this morning in Gainesville, Florida, and thanked God for you!!!!!!!!!! The courage it takes to be a black CONSERVATIVE in this day and age of the "politically correct" is massive. You are to be commended and if I could, I would come up there and give all of you a great big hug!

My husband, Ben, and I go to a non-denominational church where we are mixed and have a black elder (Glen Springs Road Church of Christ). He does not want to be called an "African-American". He is simply an American like all the rest of us, white, Spanish, you know the drill. I have had close black friends all of my life and always wonder why anyone would think anything I had to say was "racist" although I've gotten this from people who don't know me at all just for the simplest of comments which I'd say to any of my black friends who wouldn't think anything of it. We can actually JOKE about some things! We've been roommates, in weddings, in singing tour groups all over the country, made a record at the Grand 'Ol Opry...........today I'm teaching preschool and my closest friend is a conservative black woman!! I'm just so thrilled to hear you on TV I want to scream! Common sense in NOT lost! We do not have to write off the black vote in America as being Democrat all the time.

I just can't tell you how GOOD and UPLIFTING it has been to listen to Mychal Massie and Allen West today!!!!!! God bless you all!!!! Please let us know if we can help in any way to assist you all. This country has turned from God long ago, I believe, starting with the abortion issue, but long before that even. Although you could almost "feel" a turning with the abortion issue. I know people say to drop that and we'd be able to win more elections and that it's always holding us back, but right is right. Murder is murder. Thank God those babies will be in heaven when Jesus returns a second time! They are innocent. And the gall of Barack Obama to say it's "OK" to kill the baby who struggles out of the womb and makes it! How DARE he!!!!!!! He will answer to His God for that and many more things.

When a country kills it's most innocent members, that country will repeat history. We are not immune to the consequences of sin. But the good news is that we can be "white as snow" in God's eyes through Jesus.....that is the gospel!

OK, 'nuff preaching. I'm sorry. I get carried away. I love you guys.

Just had to thank you for standing up for the moral issues,I know in my own family and friends We feel like the odd balls. But we stand up for Jesus. Thank you for having the courage..............................................................Thank you for loving God and telling others,,,,,,,,,,Mr.& Mrs.

David Webb

I was watching Cspan this morning during the forum. God works in wonderful ways because I seldom watch Cspan. After listing to Wright bash America I became very frustrated. I knew in my heart that there are a lot of African Americans who DO NOT share his believes. But where are they, where are our christian leaders, white and black that need to speak out against hate and discontent. I believe God is in control of this election and He is watching to see if those who believe in religious freedom and put God first in everything will stand up for HIM.

I thank you and Mychal Massie. I heard him comment on how he and his family are being attacked. Praise God - that means he is doing something Satan doesn't like. I also believe when Christians are working side by side to defeat Satan he will attack but I also know in my heart when we have God on our side no one can defeat those who proclaim Christ as our Savior.

May God Bless each of you as you stand up for your rights and believes.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed your refreshing conference I listened to on C-Span last evening. It would be magnificent if C-Span would repeat the entire conference.

It was truly my PROUDEST MOMENT AS AN AMERICAN!
It breaks my heart that we are so shattered as a Country and to hear your speakers reinforce my racial beliefs I was raised in.

Mychal Massie, Keith Ellison, Niger Innis, Star Parker...et al...all people John McCain would serve this country well by placing you in major Cabinet positions.

You are the Americans who could truly bring this country together and "one nation under God"!

God Bless you!

I just concluded watching a portion of C span program with the Black Republican Forum.

As a 60 year old white Chrisitian, I applaud this program.

I am so opposed to Barack Obama, for what he stands for.

I will pray that the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson somehow be used by the Republican Party to get the truth out about the liberal black candidate. If both black and white America could hear the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, speak and respeak his words spoken today on C span, perhaps it would begin to wake up America.

I love my country, black and white. I pray that God will use your organization to wake up America. May God bless you and your efforts. If there is anything I can do please email me.

Dear Mr. Webb

As I sat here in Rain soaked Florida this morning and flipping the channels away from the usual media hyped support of Mr. Obama, I found Cspan with the Republican Black Forum.. I am a white, middle age, woman who owns a small business. I had given up all hope that the black Americans would realize how the Democrats have hurt them. I had said to my family, who includes biracial grandchildren, that Mr. Obama and his supporters would do more to hurt race relations than has happened in years. I was so elated to hear the common sense speeches and intelligent answers to the Obama rhetoric. I hope your message gets out to the black communities throughout the country. I am so concerned for everyone in this Country. I'm really afraid the "change" Mr. Obama will bring would be nothing short of socialism which would only serve to make everyone more dependent on the government. Please keep up the good work and I will keep all of you in my prayers...

Best Regards,

McAlpin, Florida

I was honored and elated to watch the BlackRepublicanForum. I was proud to see black Americans speaking out.

I pray the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson be used to support the good American values for both black and white.

Dear Mr. Peterson,

While flipping through the channels on TV this morning (8/23/08), I happened to hear you speaking on C-Span. Thank you so much for the sound, truthful, information which you gave in your speach and the way that you and the two ladies on the panal gave answers to the questions you were asked. I am man who happens to have white skin. I am a minister of the gospel who is also conservative both in my religion and in my politics. It was really refreshing to hear my conservative view being spoken. How glad I was to hear someone on national TV condemn in no uncertain terms condemn abortion and homosexuality and them to support marriage, hard work and uprightness.

I too am not an ardent supporter of John McCain. However, what other choise do I have for I surely cannot support Oboma! It is my conviction that National Republican Party has started leaving the conservative base that we enjoyed a few years ago. My prayer is that we will find our way back to the convervative principles of right and wrong so that our nation can be the proud nation that it was once.

I am sure that for the next several months you will be extremely busy.
However, after the election or before if you have time, I would like correspond with you. either my e-mail or by regular mail, so that I can get to know you better. Again, thank you for a great speach.

Loved your C-Span forum. I don't understand why we aren't seeing the NBRP more on news programs. Why aren't we seeing you guys standing with McCain and getting your message out? Please keep pushing forward. I want to see you on all of the Sunday morning news programs. What about Oprah? Is that a joke?

Go, go, go!

What can I do to help spread your very awesome platform? Thank you for your incredible courage.

Good Day

I happened to see the broadcast on C-SPAN this morning and was in literally moved. I am one of those “white” Americans that has occasionally seen “black” Americans on C-SPAN in the past and knew that you existed but I really don’t have words to describe how happy it makes me to hear you denounce the lunacy of political correctness and not be offend by the most innocent of things. I don’t know where this country went wrong, possibly the creation of the Department of Education, but your group lets me know that there is a light in the darkness. Thank you for your courage and keep up the superior work.

VERY sincerely

I watched your program of August 23 on C-Span and I was very much heartened by all of your speakers and your total platform. I am retired from the Air Force and, of course, have many friends who are black.

I remember an incident when my wife and I had a garage sale. One of the gentlemen from the base, who happened to be black, came to the sale, I recognized him and made the comment "We don't allow your kind here". He and I hugged each other, while both his wife and my wife were shocked. He and I knew that the comment was because of our jobs and not his color. We were buddies, yet our wives did not understand until we explained to them.

So, you were all right. Education is the key. One thing that I think you might ask all blacks is this. I know that slavery was, and is, evil, but where would they be today if their ancestors had not been removed from Africa? Based on the past history of Africa, how many would even be here as their ancestors would not have survived.

And would they now have the same rights and privileges there, as they
have here? I do not condone slavery in any shape or form, but based on the past history of Africa, the slaves that came to America may have survived better here than many of their ancestors. Africa, at that time, was rife with tribal conflicts. In fact, history tells us that many of the slaves were captured and sold by opposing tribes.

If the slaves were not sold they would have been killed or made slaves of the opposing tribe. If that had happened to the ancestors of the black community of today, how many would actually be here? I know that they were treated cruelly and inhumane, but how much more cruelly would they have been treated had they remained in Africa? Don't misunderstand me, I have no tolerance for slave owners, but, as many of your speakers stated, the truth is always the truth and the truth is, that Africa, at that time, was not very civil. In fact, it was a very cruel and heartless place to be. I know that there are racial issues here, but I do not believe that these issues are as grave here as they would have been there.

I, too, am a Conservative Republican and would very much like to see the black community prosper. With what I witnessed on your program, I have high hopes that this will happen. I, too, believe that we are all Americans. I do not like the hyphenated term of American, but American. Black, White or Purple.
American!!! You are Americans!!! And I applaud you !!!!

To whom it may concern,

Caught a small portion of your presentation on C-span and was truly inspired. Where have ya'll been? While I'm not naive enough to believe that prejudice behavior has vanished , I choose to think it's more about surviving using the the thoughtful and coherent analysis you put forth. You hit a home run . Please join the political fray. We need to hear more from you.

Hi,

I heard Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson this morning (Sat. 8/23) on CSPAN and was greatly impressed.

I would like to present this formulation for a description of the "southern strategy" of the Democrat party. I abruptly lost one friend over this description and have found no Democrat who is willing to debate these points:

The Northern wing of the Democrats has been in the majority of that party for most of its life. Rarely was this wing supported by a majority in the country (maybe 1932 or 1936 or1964??).

The split of the Democrats in 1860 brought on the Civil War -- a brief moment of indecision (or conscience, perhaps?).

After reconstruction the Northern Democrats again made common cause with the Southern racists. This lasted until 1994.

This alliance with evil caused evil to slowly transfer out of the Southerners to reside heavily in the Northern liberals. This is the most significant underlying cause of what is responsible for the perversion of the word liberal into a dirty word.

From the 1930s to 1994 the "liberal" Northern Democrats actually thought their ideas represented a majority of the people. They refused to admit that they were only in power in Congress because of the Southern block vote. They needed it to keep power.

The South has two parties now. God bless all the modern people in the South who have brought themselves out of banana republic status and into the light of the modern world.

Finally, after all these years of this deal with the devil, the "liberal" Democrats have the party all to themselves.

Question: Why isn't this description of the Democrats being used by Republicans and every school child?

Thanks for being there,
God Bless,

I watched your c-span program Saturday, Aug 23, 2008. I was very impressed by the panel and the information that they gave. I keep closed captioning on so that I not only hear what is being said but I can also see what is said and I can retain the information better. I thought you might want to know that, when Mychal Massie was speaking about Whoopi Goldberg and "she brags at the number of abortions she's had, we should keep them free" (this is not common knowledge), that part was completely missing from the closed captioning. I have noticed that the closed captioning companies will often edit parts that they don't approve of, or that are extremely controversial. You might want to keep an eye on this.
Respectfully,

P.S. Replies are welcome but, Please don't spam me. Thank you.

Dear Mr. Webb,

My wife and I just listened to the black republican forum this morning on C span. I am so pleased that there is a group that is standing up for all Americans and simply telling the truth. I am afraid that this country is heading to the "left" in a way that will eventually lead us into what happened to the Roman Empire. It is so refreshing for me personally to hear black people get up and say that abortion is wrong, that gay marriage is wrong, and that they don't believe that our government should control all aspects of our lives. I love the fact that they identified that liberals, like Obama, are pushing us towards "Marxism". This country needs more people like you and the black republican forum that are standing up for what is right and what this nation was founded on. This old over weight white conservative American farmer salutes what you and the black republicans are doing for all of us.... Thank you,                       , Yuma, Arizona......................
Hello:

I was “channel-surfing” and caught your CSPAN program this morning and felt compelled to send along my thoughts. I apologize as I don’t know who is receiving this email given the address, but the gentleman before the break asked for a “full email box” so I’m contributing to his request. I’m sure some of what I’ll be saying what you already know as I get this off my chest, but know that I stand with you fully in solidarity.

I wanted you to know how compelling the program was for me, a white Republican about to turn 56. I’d vaguely heard of the NBRA and had never seen any of you in the Media. Just seeing and listening to the people on this program gave me hope for American black people – here are people (regardless of race) who’ve seen through the delusion from propaganda so many other Americans seem to be embedded in.

I’m proudly a Republican, not only because I believe in smaller government, strong defense and fiscal responsibility, but because it is the Party of Lincoln – something the Media seems intent on rewriting and recasting in history.

My reason for concern is it seems the blacks in America have been aggressively committing some form of racial/cultural suicide since the 1960’s. Trace it back to the advent of the “Great Society” program if you strictly look at cause and effect. I don’t believe Lyndon Johnson had such a pure heart! The government programs since then have infected white people just as much proportionally but far more numerically (probably to Johnson’s surprise) and cause the same effect, regardless of race. One entire side of my family is in this category of “entitlement” - thoroughly destroyed and dependent on government handouts - no less than societal free-heroin.

If you look strictly at cause and effect, “The Great Society” is the greatest conspiracy against black people than any other action since those by southern Democrats after the end of the Civil War. What mystifies me is how suddenly the southern Democrats have managed to slip their own KKK robes on unsuspecting, naďve Republicans – and the Media reinforces this, either intentionally or in ignorance. My relatives fought and died for the North! To cast them that way is a heinous lie.

Starting in the ‘60’s, white racist democrats condescendingly champion themselves as the hope for black people. The “liberals” in Hollywood go out of their way to give the stage to blacks who look like drugged out pimps and gangsters – isn’t that perpetuating racist stereotypes? If I was black, I’d be beside myself with rage – I am already despairing for black Americans as a white Republican. I saw Bill Cosby once at Washington State University and I thanked God that he still had some presence and hopefully, some remaining positive influence.

I remember Alabama governor George Wallace was a white Democrat and that the South in general was solidly in his category but you’d never know that today. I remember “Ax Handle Maddox” and what party he belonged. I also recall how my democrat cousins in “liberal Boston” were the most racist white people I’d ever known and yet my family from Kansas was nothing like them. How could this image transformation be possible? It’s just like the “Bolsheviks” of old Russia whose name means, “The Majority Party” when they were far smaller than the ruling “Mensheviks” before the 1918 revolution. They used the big lie so much they finally won!

Today, I see things in the Media that would give cause for the uneducated public to believe the South was Republican in the Civil War! This I know personally is true, because a woman I briefly dated (met through Eharmony) who quit school in 7th grade believed this was so! This came up when we were watching the movie “Sweet Home Alabama” about a woman who is a New York City fashion designer, from Alabama who is soon to marry the son of a liberal female New York City mayor. She goes back to Alabama and they depict her father in a Civil War reenactment – and she says, “…of course they’re all Republicans…as though the South was Republican and not Democrat! I told this woman it was entirely false, and yet she believed the movie was right because “why would they say that in a movie if it wasn’t true?” Now ask yourself, what do uneducated white people believe black people are like from what they see in the Media? It’s no wonder they believe what they do in India.

Another example of blatant rewriting of history by Liberals is by calling Nazi’s “Fascists.” The Nazi’s were NOT fascist – Mussolini in Italy and Franco in Spain were Fascist – Hitler was a NATIONAL SOCIALIST who took away gun ownership and began an aggressive program of socialism in Germany – he even created and advocated the concept of the Volkswagen, which translates to mean, “The People’s Car.”

If this kind of unabashed rewriting of history is possible in America of all places (a lie repeated often enough becomes “fact”) who is next? Shouldn’t all Blacks and Jews be Republicans? What the hell happened???

Another irony I find as a white person, is the only people I’ve ever heard using the “N-word” (excepting my racist cousins in Boston) have been blacks and Hispanics. I was one of only two white people working at the Los Angeles Convention Center maintenance department while I was going to college. The department was managed by blacks and staffed mostly with Hispanics. I never in my life heard so much racism than when I worked there. For some reason, each minority would take me aside at times and tell me how bad each other was! This was the same when I was in college. To this day, I still don’t understand it. I was just thankful that as a white they were all generally nice to me and didn’t reverse-discriminate against me.

As for education, my now 23 y/o daughter was “educated” in a history while in high school I found to be just this side of delusional – I had to literally read her history textbook and tell her what was simply not true. It’s no mystery to me today how American patriotism is looked down on, especially when any of it you read since the ‘70’s makes you feel as an American like a modern-day German SHOULD feel about his history! I’ve never seen so many “self-loathing Americans” than I do now…and Barack Obama has fallen into that trap. The IRONY of Obama going to GERMANY of all places (who started two world wars and who persecuted and killed tens of millions) and APOLOGIZING for America (???!!!) has got to be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in the real world! Did not ANYONE see this as bizarre?

I have a lot I want to say but I’ll get to my point.

When I saw Barack Obama, my “inner Republican” really wanted to find reason to vote for him. I wanted to find a reason to cross party lines and do so. I have liberal friends who have seemingly blinded and deafened themselves for this same reason. Any true Republican (the party of Lincoln) wants to see this finally happen – I’d vote for Condi Rice as president in a heartbeat. After I listened to Obama and now see him for whom and what he is, I’m genuinely terrified.

This man has no “boundaries” and seems like a morphing of Jimmy Carter & Neville Chamberlain – he is so naďve and uniformed for a college educated man that I’m astounded. He give me no reason to believe he has a grip on reality, let alone have America’s interests first. I’m sure you’re just as disappointed as I am.

I’d take a bastard like Richard Nixon any day, as at least he was OUR bastard and was looking out for America. I think John McCain is no “bastard” in that sense but I could sleep at night, knowing he will be America’s president and looking out for us, and not putting the opinion of foreign powers first. I cannot think of anyone else on this planet who’d be tougher under pressure than John McCain.

One last thing I wanted to share. In 1976, I was in Taiwan meeting my soon-to-be in-laws and family. In the month I was there, I only saw one other American and he was black – in that moment I saw him and heard him speak American English, I felt compelled to go up to him and introduce myself. This man was the first person I’d met in a month who I felt anything in common with and solidarity – it was that “American energy” I’d missed – and it transcended everything else for he and I were one and the same. For those few minutes, I would’ve fought for him as a fellow American if there had been any circumstance to do so, and it’s still hard for me to explain why I’d feel this way for someone who was otherwise a stranger to me. Now, why can’t we all feel that way at home?

Thanks for your time. I wish you every success in awaking as many Americans as possible.

Best Regards,

Gig Harbor, WA

I watched your forum on C-Span last night. I have to tell you, from the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You all brought me to tears. It was as if I was finally given the freedom to say "No I am not a racist". It is a HORRIBLE feeling to think that because I feel the SAME things that you stated, that it somehow made me a racist! I met with Governor Tim Pawlenty today in Pennsylvania and gave him your information. He was already familiar with Star Parker, but was not aware of your forum and he is going to encourage Senator John McCain to reach out to your organization. Now I can't guarantee that he will be in touch with you, but I can guarantee you that I will help you here in Pa in whatever way I can. I want to get involved in your organization. Please contact me to let me know what I can do. Thank you so much for your inspiration and for giving me faith that America may still have hope!

Sincerely,

No questions, just a comment. Where have you guys been all my life????

Was switching channels last night and came upon your discussion. WOW, I was blown away. Is there any way to keep informed of when similar programs will be on TV or how do I keep up with what is going on? Please let me know.

Keep up the good work.

I thank you in advance.

Last night I encountered the CSPAN show and thoroughly enjoyed and agreed with discussions. Despite being raised to vote Democratic, I have discovered that I embrace the core Republican platform values and have voted for candidates that do as well. Thank you very much for your dedication to promote these values!

Mr. Webb,

I just wanted to write to you and let you know I watched the 2008 Black Republican Forum on C-SPAN Saturday morning, August 23. I was very impressed with all of the panel. It was gratifying to know that their are other African Americans that share my social values and have the courage to voice them. What can individuals like myself do to help the cause and message get out?

Thanks to you and all the panel.

To whom it may concern
I was just surfing the 'net and was astounded when I stopped at your program. Listening to all your distinctive black speakers brought tears to my eyes and hope to my heart. I have felt that having a black president will result in the usual "give-away" philosphy espoused by the Democratic Party---100 fold. It is the old fear tactics used by the Democrats, especially the Congress we have had the last eight years. The usual promises, with no delivery. I heartily agree that there should be more education of the black community---and we whites, too---teaching all of us the dangers of liberalism, especially the type practiced by Barack Obama. I wish the organization of black women who are going to launch a new t.v. program my most sincere best wishes for success and fulfillment. I would like to watch the program when it starts I hope there will be lots of publicity about it

Sincerely
(A confirmed conservative Republican)

Unbelievable! I am an open minded person and love learning, so flipping through the channnels I stopped on your conference of August 23, 2008. Some of the things said were not true. Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson does not want to be an African just an American. I've never heard a white deny that he is European. He further accused Senator Obama of being for late term abortion and same sex marriage which was a bald-faced lie. Deborah Honeycutt, explains that she is a Lincoln Republicans; she must know that Lincoln did not want to free the Africans slaves or believed that they were as intelligent as whites. Do we know our history from 1607 to the present? What, pray tell are the black conservatives conserving?. Do black conservatives know that the Republican Party has changed? Do you know what Nixon's southern strategy was? Do you know why the whites ran to the Republican Party? They ran to the Republican Party because they were racist and feared losing their white supremacy status. That is the fear that is driving them from the Obama campaign and I guess that is what driving the black conservatives. Africans know what the Democratic Party and the Republic Party do to blacks--both use them but at least the Democrats leave some dignity.
I am an African born in America, I am a Pan-Africanist, I am a capatilist, I had my own business until I retired, I live in over a $350.000 home and I have money in the bank. I donate to Durfur, cancer, diabetes and church organizations,so, I am not subject to wanting anything from the government. It's been like James Brown said, "Open the door I'll get it my self." I have beat the system of black inferiority I show no signs of self-hate because I read the black scholars and I would advise you to do the same. It's past time.

Your self-hate is an embrassment.

Let it be known, I was born in Costa Rica, Central America; I am now an American Citizen, and a Republican. I was raised by a black Lady whom we called Mama Lilly, we love her very much. I am very Pleased to have had the opportunity to listen to the Presidential election & African Americans, National Black Republican Association conference onC-span2.
!!Congratulations to all !!, especially to Mr. Mychal Massie, Mr. David Webb and to
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, thank you very much. We are all "AMERICANS" and CHILDREN OF GOD ,
WE LOVE YOU ALL.
Yours Truly.

Thank you Mr. Webb: August 23, 2008

I was MOST certainly IMPRESSED with you and your colleagues when I happened to drop in to C-Span broadcasting your Conference.

WOW! Intelligent people of color who realize that we WILL NOT vote a man in JUST because he is Black. A responsible number of Professionals who have aspired and made it to the top, and realize that there shall be a Black Man in office; however NOT at this time, and NOT Barack Obama. I said WOW! Because to hear Barack Obama say that Clarence Thomas was not in the right place at the right time; is what? Playing God? or being dumbfounded that a respectable dignified educated aspiring successful Supreme Court Justice would DARE to be a Republican? Such as Martin Luther King was?

Martin Luther King must be so saddened by how SOME of our Folk "hold back so many" such as Jeremiah Wright ( I NEVER use Reverend in the same sentence with Wright because of his LACK of understanding of God's OWN WORDS: "MY people without a vision shall perish"). I suppose you realize as many of us do that Jeremiah himself is going to hope that many of his parishioners can be "brainwashed" of his mortifying preaching. "We can't move out ahead if we keep running backwards". (S. Tittle)

Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson put it best. A man who sat in a Separatist Congregation and now feels that too, abortion is okay or when he says with his own mouth: "just because you have a right does not mean that the state or local government cannot constrain that right " ; is of "no good" and is of evil and he (Rev Peterson) will NOT VOTE for this man, simply because "he's black". He and his colleagues REALIZED that "this man is JUST another politician who would say anything, do anything, be anything to anyone to be elected"; and when I found that you all realized that this is MOST dangerous for OUR United States of America and in the World, you are STOPPING it.

Finally we have some semblance of order in our Divinity. God will use this; you STRONG men and women for now and for another time. For now He WILL use you to help those with "the veil" over their eyes (simply because "the man is Black"; wake up to "moving ahead is not moving Obama in to the Highest Office of the United States of America; where if he believes "your rights can be 'constrained by the state or local government' you haven't got a chance when he brings along "his friends".

Thank you for giving me back my Faith in my Brotherhood.

God Bless you,

I happened to be flipping channels the other night in between news and found you on c-span and listened. I was impressed with what your panel had to say. Excellent job! Keep up the good work.

I watched C-Span on Saturday morning, listening to your panelists and agreeing wholeheartedly with all! . It was so refreshing to hear common sense solutions, even Biblical solutions, and expressions of pain and sorrow over the state of our nation and the folly of our governing bodies. My heart breaks as I watch the mainstream media and hear the pundits spout off. Such nonsense, such superficiality, such hypocrisy, such extravagance, along with pure idiocy and stupidity. The common citizen feels depression and frustration and anger. So your meeting was a breath of fresh air!

How much I appreciate all of you and the work you are doing, your dedication and courage and perseverance. Please contact Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, both seemingly fair-minded conservatives with millions of people like me in their audiences, and request interviews, air time, any opportunity to have some input and the ability to express your positions and viewpoints. We never hear anyone like your people, and the other guests from Project 21 and National Black Republic Association. Mychal Massie was awesome, as was Jesse Peterson, Star, David Webb, the lady legislators/mayors – I cannot say how impressed and encouraged I was. THANK YOU! AND GOD BLESS YOU!

Hi. I wanted to say just how refreshing & invigorating your speakers & forum was to us. I must admit we had no idea of your good and informative organization. ( we are Caucasians) we have felt for many years Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson do more harm to black Americans than any perceived self serving good the biased media portrays them to represent. (keep up your good & informative work. also. it was so refreshing to hear black Americans whom are not raving & blaming whitey for all the troubles of black Americans. we do applaud your great efforts and your work. it is to be commended. also it was so refreshing to hear brilliant & Intelligible black speakers not out for self promotions as in Sharpton & Jackson. again. you are to be applauded by all races.

My wife and I very much enjoyed your forum.

It was refreshing and inspiring to hear such sound principles expressed with passion.

I would only encourage you to get noticed more in the mainstream media.

You should try to get your articulate voices on talk radio. During this election year, I am sure they need guests for their shows.

We will help spread the word and refer our friends to your website.

Thanks again for your sincerity.

Irving, Tx.
I watched a portion of CSPAN broadcast and would rate the presenters as some of the most inspiring Americans I've ever seen; I was mesmerized!. Your lucid descriptions and explanations of what the Democrats have done to Black Americans is compelling. I'm proud that you are members of the party of Lincoln and I pray that folks like you can lead the nation out of the tyranny of liberal elitism that has kept Blacks in bondage. Count on my support financially and otherwise.

I watched your program and I feel that Blacks will never subscribe to your line of thinking. I'm sad for your forum.

I am searching for a Black Republican Group/Forum in Washington State. Is there such a thing?

Hello,

I am so pleased to hear your comments today on cspan.
You have a great forum. Hope it gets plenty of exposure.
I don't know any black conservatives.

mj
You all should be ashamed for having Jesse Lee Peterson speak for you. I voted Republican in the last election, but I'm definitely voting democratic this time... "Reverend" Peterson's comments for your organization swung me to the left.

Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson is the most idiotic, embarrasing individual I have ever heard speak. I am embarrassed as an educated African-American, and embarrassed as a Christian. He needs to get an education before he speaks, he embarrasses us all. He makes broad sweeping statements without any legitimate research to back them up. My pastor often says no one knows a fool is a fool until they open their mouth. He does not speak for Jesus, and he does not speak for the African-American public.

People have the right to be republican, that's fine, who cares. But back up beliefs with sound doctrine, not idiotic remarks... don't sell out!

I have just watched a portion of your program today on CSPAN 2. I was so impressed with everyone that I heard speak. I think this is wonderful to see Christian conservatives of every race assembling to learn the truth. I am a very patriotic American who happens to be white on this earth but the same color as all Christians spiritually everywhere. This program was very encouraging to me.
May God bless your efforts and keep you in His Grace,

Hi Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson and Mychal Massie, and others:
I was encouraged with your organization's presentation on C-SPAN Monday evening. It was refreshing because from what I heard you are on the right side of every issue. Great job! Keep it up! You will be in my prayers.

David Webb:

Unfortunately, I was only able to see a portion of your program on C-span.org/politics and applaud those who encouraged stop feeding the political theological institutions a/k/a black churches. However, that would ruffle the feathers of the mega church leaders of T.D.Jakes, Joel Olsteen, and Creflo Dollar, many of whom are psychological majors manipulating the minds of those willing followers. Then your participants spoke of truth and you might be interested to know some who have spoken out against those churches failing to educate people-of-color and others. While this may be the time for a Black President I do not sincerely, I do not believe Obama is the person for the calling. “The Decimation of America by its own hand” seemingly the format for “Black in America” dares to challenge America to face itself and change, written by me,            , affirming that "Gaining knowledge is not enough, it is knowledge acted upon that brings results."

For the first time, I am in a dilemma over voting or not voting however surely I cannot vote Obama and have requested that his team cease and desist sending emails to me, which they have refused. I share the following with you in the hopes that your program and efforts are successful in stemming the Obama tide especially among young people who have never learned the truth about their history least of all the political, socioeconomic consequences of blind allegiance solely because of color. I encourage to you and your party to continue your efforts.

Mr. Webb,

I am a 36 year old "white" male. I just happen to catch the Black Republican Forum on Cspan-2 and was so refreshed to hear prominent black Americans stand up, not for color, but for America! I have quite a few black friends who believe in liberation theology and when I try to explain to them how this theology actually hurts them and their families, they blow me off and say I am on the verge of racism. I believe that there are more black racists in America than white. I do not see color when I look at a man/woman, I see a human being. I agree that there are many black preachers and churches who preach this theology and that they are hurting America as a result. God has placed it on my heart since I was 18 - 19 to bring unity between the "black"
and "white" churches in America. Over the last 12 - 15 years I have lost heart in this fight because of the strong opposition. The Black Republican Forum has inspired me that there are others that are taking up this fight and I am wondering, in your opinion, what I can do to further your mission and message. What can I do as a support and make a difference in this battle? Thank you very much for your time and I thank you also for your work.

I just watched speakers Star Parker, Rev Jesse Lee Peterson, Deneen Borelli, Mychal Massie on C-Span. It is so refreshing to here black people say things that us white folks are reluctant to say. It's time we all speak as Americans with common problems to address. Rev Peterson said that white folks don't know what more we can do for black folks.
Whites are aware that the left hatred from whites but approves black hatred of whites. National security, environment, economy, health care prblems are common to us all. It was Obama who used the race card when he said he didn't look like other Presidents on US currency. It was to the point when I heard someone say that these men on the bills are all dead and Obama is not President. I will be watching for more news of your organization's progress.

Dear Black Republicans,
My name is                         . I am an 18 year old black man- with a black/native American mother and black/white father. I live in Newark NJ, and this will be my first presidential election. My question to your site and followers is how can you support a republican candidate at a time when a strong black democratic candidate is running? I'm trying to understand and respect your opinion, but where's the unity? Like it or not this is a political battle. How has the Republican party ever had our best interest at heart. Conservatives don't care about minorities. They see us as lesser beings. I am watching your forum on channel 72 and I haven't seen any white people. Do not make it that easy for the racist republican conservatives to win your vote. I believe that I understand your general rationale for being republican, but yours is a lost cause. How is the Republican party going to better my life? If you are truly fighting for black rights you either vote democratic or, even better, start a black party so that we don't have to choose between two. The republican party is a corrupt tyrant, backing television shows like Fox5 that demeans all minorities while trotting out the token black or latino or woman to agree. Do not be that token. Black Republicans...Why? What's wrong with Obama? Is he not better than Whoppi Goldberg and Jesse Jackson? He is making the US world see us as professional, while you would see him lose.

I stumbled past CSpan 2 on my way to catch up on some election coverage and noticed the bullet phrase on the bottom of the screen "National Black Republicans". Confused as I have never seen television coverage of conservative blacks, I watched intently. I
STOOD UP AND APPLAUDED the speaker i caught, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson.
I will watch the rest of the video on the site. I will write names down. I will support this cause. Every once in a while, when the overbearing bad news flows over the levy and makes the hopeful hopeless, God reminds you that he's in control, and everything will be
fine. Watching this program was my reminder. God bless all of you.
Wow.

My husband and I never watch C-Span, but as we were changing the channel today, we ran into the forum and were absolutely captivated. We were so excited to hear the speakers and what they had to say.

We are a lower-middle income white family who owns a business and homeschools our son. Mostly, we belong to Jesus and were so thrilled by the content of your message. We would surely cast our vote for any of the speakers who spoke at the sessions. It was outstanding to hear how the speakers of this forum believe.

One of my dearest friends is a very educated black woman who is fervently republican. She opened my eyes to the realization that not all black Americans are democrats, nor buy into the lies that are sewn into so many people through that campaign. However, today, to hear so many speakers who believe like my friend does and I do, well, there just aren't words to tell you how excited my husband and I were to hear about your issues. Our portion of middle class white America is not hearing your message. It would be amazing if we did! I promise you that I will be telling people to go to your website. I will be sending out E-mails to tell them about your forum and how powerful it was.

We felt like the speakers had better answers than any politician we've heard in a long time. It's so wonderful to hear the truth spoken plainly. Thank you for believing, like us, that it's all about doing what the Lord wants and taking responsibility for ourselves.

My husband and I have been just about killing ourselves to pull ourselves up out of poverty by our own bootstraps. The Lord has never forsaken us and has always blessed our obedience (as we grew in knowledge of Him and His Word.) No government agency has ever given us a hand out. Even if we qualified (and we did) we didn't take it. We took the harder road and did without many things (including needs and health care) to not be dependent upon others. The eye of Hurricane Katrina went right over our house. We are still working to put back our lives from that storm, but not by the money of others, just our own labor and money as God provides.

The Lord rewards people who will vote for righteousness and do without programs to honor His will and His Word. We know this first hand. It's hard, but it's well worth it. As we have walked in greater obedience to Him, He has built our relationships with each other, and built our business, and our faith. He has never let us fall too far. He has always been faithful to keep us fed and taken care of.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for speaking the truth - God's truth.

I just watched the National Black Repuiblican Associates forum on C-Span2 on TV and want to express my "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" to all your wonderful speakers and the message of your organization!! YOU'VE GIVEN ME HOPE for the Republican Party and the 2008 Presidential Election - let alone, the FUTURE of the United States of America!
I am a 66-yr-old widow woman living with my 43-yr-old disabled daughter in Florida and we are both registered Republicans. We were very fond of Alan Keyes in past elections and feel we haven't really had a GOOD choice for President since he ran. We're praying about this coming election and feel that the Lord just blessed us with encouragement from your group. We are Evangelical Christians of caucasian race and feel exactly the same as you do regarding Barak Obama and the "danger" of his faith - let alone his racist wife.
Special thanks for Mychal Massie, Rev. Jessie Lee Peterson, Star Parker, and David Webb - we greatly respect their views for America and the world and their honesty! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! (Too bad Oprah Winfrey doesn't share our platform.......We'd like to hear more from ALL OF YOU in the media!)
Sincerely,

                 , Hudson, Florida
Greetings,

I just watched one of your forums, a 6 PM boardcast on C span. It was chaired by David Webb and Mychal Massie I believe. Two of those on the panel were Star Parker and Jesse Peterson. I cannot tell you how impressed and thoroughly moved I was by the speakers and their message. I had no idea that such a core of belief existed in a strong outspoken political organization.
I am a white middle class liberal democrat and was just amazed at what I heard. I have heard Bill Crosby's and Jesse Jackson's speak to some similar issues but assumed they were lone voices without lasting influence. I had no idea the Black Women's National Republican Club or the Coalition of Urban Renewal and Education held such a strong platform and work so hard at promoting it despite criticism from every side.

I congratulate you and wish you every success and will watch the other two forums listed at your site.

To Mr. Massie:

I watched for the first time your televised forum. I loved it. I appreciated your dedication to everyone. Not just the black, not just the white, but everyone.

There are a lot of people out here who beleive the same way you do.

I am a white 50 year old woman. I have worked in the medical industry for half of my life. I have seen how our medical system is failing us.

I grew up in Florida where when the segregation started and kids were bused to schools miles from their homes, riots started. The black kids spit on us, kicked us and stabbed us. They were mad, just as we were. I didn't get bused because I was older but the grade lower did. I saw some horrific things. All of the kids were mad. It turned out to be kids fighting kids. It was terrible.

I was going to vote for Obama, because I beleived him. I thought that new blood would be good. I have heard his words from his church, the race issue has been brought up numerous times, and who he is associated with. I will not vote for him. Not because he is black, because I do not feel he would defend his people, defend our country.

I feel that all of us are the same. We are all human beings. Crime and trash is within all our communities. The black, white, hispanic and so on.

When I hear of racist, I think back to President Lincoln. He is what started the Civil War. To stop slavery. How many men died in that war? A lot. Black and white.

I live in a small Texas town. We do go to church, and we do hunt, and we do have weapons. Our church preaches the Bible and forgiveness. They do not comment on the election. We hunt. For the food. Some people hunt for the sport and don't care about the meat. I feel this is cruel. We have weapons. For self defense. To defend ourselves in a house intrusion or maybe when we get attacted from a foreign counrty.

We beleive in a person who beleives in themselves and who beleives in others. A person who has always loved this country. This person is not Obama.

Thank you for the wonderful information. Thank you for your wonderful speakers.

I watched your forum on CSPAN today, and must say your panel gave me some insight. I wasn't about to vote for Obama, because he is black, but after listening to the panel talk, I said to myself it isn't the black man I am voting against, but the values he holds. I would vote for Maychal or Star or the other panel member in a heart beat, and of course they are black. The reverend Maychal said something else that was interesting in that it is the minorities who are the racists not the whites. I would tend to agree with him (excluding elements such as the KKK etc) as the average white doesn't even think about racial profiling. Again I hope you can continue to get the valuable word out, and you can break down the elements that hold you back.

Hello,
I am a white, conservative, Christian 18 year old male who watched your program you had CSPAN 2 on Aug 25 and all I can say is bravo. It was so inspiring and refreshing to hear black leaders talk something logical. What you said about white people being afraid of blacks because we are so scared of the possibility of being called racist is sadly so true. The only people that are racist is main-stream black figures. I want to love all people. It hurts me to see most blacks follow such hate and un-Godliness that pures from Obama's mouth. I would love nothing more than to move foward with blacks and just become fellow Americans.

Thank you for having the courage to stand up for what is right and just. God bless you all and the best of luck

John A.

PS. also I would like to know if you had a Myspace page. If no, I would highly recomend you get one. A page would be a great tool for getting out info. to a younger demograph.

I had the opportunity to view your forum this afternoon, 25 Aug 08, and I admit that you folks are doing the Lord's work. It must be very difficult to run into so much opposition from the black community yet you continue to get the word out. I am proud of you and honored to call you brethren in the church and political party. I am retired Air Force with 25 years activity and USAF government with 20 years. By the way, I am white too. About 4 years ago, I was walking the halls of the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Group with a black NCO who was retiring after 20 years of active duty. He was highly regarded in our medical group.

I asked him where he was going to reside after retirement.

He said, "I am moving back to New York City."

I asked him if he read the NY Times Newspaper.

He replied, "Yes!"

I commented that the NY Times does not like Republicans.

His reply, "Neither do I."

Sadly, we never spoke again.

I was stunned about how convinced he was about the NY Times. I do not nor will I ever read that newspaper.

God Bless you for what you are doing.

I watched your forum on CSpan last night - I was very impressed. I am a white female from New Orleans. Without insulting anyone, it was refreshing to witness intelligent, educated black Americans who have not been brainwashed by the democrats. We all have to pick ourselves up from adversity - we are responsible for our own behavior & accomplishments in this world, with God's help. If we could end the victim, entitlement mentality, we would be an even greater country. In New Orleans , we witness ( on a very close level) how the social " help " created in past decades has not worked - the very sad people at the Dome just after the hurricane was a vivid picture of what the democrats and corrupt black ministers have done to the black people in this country - perpetuating the hatred, telling people that others (the government) are responsible for taking care of them. We had seven feet of water in our home, swam & boated out, came back to clean & restore our home,& "kept it together". We were appalled when we finally got to a TV three days after the storm to see the sad people created by the social dependency programs designed by the democrats. It was heartbreaking. I find it surprising that not one media organization has pointed out that the situation we saw was a direct result of decades of creating dependent people ( by the democrats ). Of course, we all know the media is liberal 98% of the time. This is a very delicate subject - when we discuss this with black friends who know us, they agree, but being white in this city does not allow us to speak openly - we would be accused of racism. Since New Orleans is a "chocolate city", per our absentee mayor, the racism that occurs here is reverse racism. When our previous DA was found guilty ,in a court of law, of firing whites and hiring blacks to replace them, he was not fired & his office (we, the taxpayers) had to foot the bill for his defense and fines. If Mr. Jordan had been white, he would have been fired in a New York second. It saddens me to see how many of our politicians are indicted on a weekly basis in this city. We need your organization - we need your members to help run this city with integrity. Do you have any members in New Orleans ?

Sorry to be so lengthy. Please hold your next forum in New Orleans. We need visitors , it's a most interesting city - best food & music in the country. Most importantly, maybe you could reach a large number of blacks who really need to hear your message !!! You give me such hope that things really can get better, that we can all be on the same page one day !!!! Thank you so much, God Bless all of you. I am praying that your work in this country and the world will be most fruitful.

You said that you would like to get 100 emails today - well - here is just one.

I watched you on C-Span today and I must say that I was very impressed and inspired by your candor and your honesty.

As a middle age white woman who has had to overcome her own share of barriors to success in life I am PLEASED beyond words to hear people like you and the panel today sharing the TRUTH that hard work and integrity still pays off in America.

Keep up the good work and let me know how I can help spread the news that the only slave owners left in America today are liberal Democrats.

Count me in (you can include me on your mailing lists).

I'm so impressed that I'm not even sure where to begin. Here goes...........
I was home this afternoon and decided to check the satellite channels to see if coverage of the Democratic convention had begun.
C-SPAN was covering a woman's speech at the convention. After listening to approximately two minutes of her speech I found it was more of the same old liberal Democratic complaining & whining.
I then move up one channel to C-SPAN2.
I found the National Black Republican Association presentation/forum being aired. I was very impressed by the depth and insight provided by those involved in the forum. It is so rare to see the media covering opinions given by blacks who are not of the same mindset of the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan - three who present themselves as speaking for black Americans.
I listened in awe to Mychal Massie, Deborah Honeycutt, Timothy Johnson and Jennifer Carroll and then to those forum members who followed.
I was intrigued by all that was discussed. From what I can tell I missed only the first forum but was able to take in the rest. I sat mesmerized. Why doesn't the media focus on the positive messages presented by those involved in this forum instead of focusing on those who present a degrading, demeaning face of black Americans?
My husband came home from work as I watched the forum. I asked him to come see what I was watching. He couldn't believe his eyes & ears.
We wonder why black Americans who are promoting common sense, family/Christian values and personal responsibility would be ignored by the media. We are so tired of the media & politicians "dumbing down" and pandering to all Americans but especially to black Americans instead of challenging them to strive for personal achievement, good family/Christian values & responsibility.
Thank you for providing this opportunity for us to see a side of black America that the media has chosen to ignore. We are among those who were unaware that such wonderful, dedicated spokespersons exist.
We were encouraged to see the integrity, courage and dedication of these black Americans and look forward to hearing more from those of you who are of such strong convictions that you are moved to speak out.
Thank you to all those who presented this forum.
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to hear the remarks of those involved.
Sincerely,
Pine City, MN

Dear Mr. Massie,

I watched you on C-Span yesterday. Where the heck have you folks been.
I can't find the words to truly convey to you the thrill, the joy, I experienced
listening to every member of the panel. You stated the truth and did so with
confidence. What was said is what America needs to be hearing.
Star Parker,My god,what a force.
I 'm looking forward to your television debut.
Now that you folks are determined to make yourselves heard,
the days of the Jesse Jacksons of the world are numbered.

sincerely,
Ralph
Just wanted to let you know I watched you on C-Span yesterday evening. Let me start by saying I'm a Christian, saved in March 1974, I'm 57 years old, a male and I'm white. I was so inspired by what the speakers had to say! I had no idea such a group existed and I've been a Republican all my life. You spoke the truth and I just hope God will open the eyes of the black community. I also want to tell you that before I was saved I did not like black people, I was raised to think like that but, when God saved me He changed my heart. As Paul said, I see no man according to the flesh. I pray you will have much success.

Grace To You My Brothers And Sisters,

ps   Maybe Fox News would have one of your speakers on as a regular contributor.

While I saw the video on C-Span and was truly inspired, I got to thinking that is there more that could be done to spread the word - like more speaking opportunities, etc.? Speak at churches, hire a marketing person, etc. This should not just be kept to an annual event - it should be a growing organization at every turn - that's what I would like to contribute my money to - a marketing campaign. Additionally, this will not grow without God, so prayer is a MUST!

Thank you,
, (White Republican who loves what you are doing!)

Pretty much in line with what it means to be a "Black Republican". In essence, assuming responsibility for self.

The segment on C-span (Black republican Forum) represented "Intelligent, articulate, people who happen to be black ,in a color conscious society"

Ah! I long for the day when your message/philosophy gently insinuates it's self into the consciousness of black america. Your message is the antidote for the insidious virus known as self hate.

To speakers Star Parker, and Rev Jessie Lee Peterson

I am now a better informed Black republican. I am a Black female and my husband is a c-span viewer we watched the replay of the forum on 8/25/08. I wanted to say thank you to both of these speakers for their informative no nonsense approaches. I too was raised in a Democratic family and now am the only one that is a conservative republican who is a Christian and stand for the “real” Christian values and refuse to be deceived by Obama or the “historical moment”.

Thank you again for educating me.

Hello Great Americans,
Saw your Black Republican Forum series.

Love your work. Do you have an active group in Lake County California? I would like to help.

I am retired and on limited income but will send something, occasionally. If you have any pamphlets, I will be happy to try to get more funding for you. We have some great Americans here.

I will be happy to visit churches whose
